As for the article itself it says "00:05.24:00 BIOSHOCK PS INSTALL" I don't know about you guys but that reads more like 5 and a half minutes. If you read it a different way it'll read like 5 hours and 24 minutes, but that seems highly unlikely.

I didn't say Gears 2 or R2 will win, i just said they'll be in the running *Laughs*. Fallout 3 might look a little weak to you but it looks pretty damn awesome to me and others have been saying it looks great. Besides who knows what else might come and sneak up on us as the dark horse for game of the year.

But it's ruining my childhood memories of Sonic. Ice Prophecy below makes a excellent point as well. I think we're "over the hill" as far as the market they are going for with these Sonic games. But got damn it we're still interested in them some 15 or so years later *Laughs*.

It's sort of headed in that direction. Alot of people have said that LittleBig have been the best game at the show. But you better believe it'll be facing tough competition later this year. Fallout 3, R2, Gears 2 and LittleBigPlanet all releasing within 2 months of each other. Looking like a great holiday season for us gamers.
That is true and i think the price cut should be in effect at select retailers. Though i think a majority of people are waiting for the 60 gig 360 models (more space and probably a better chipset) so that could be a reason of the slow numbers. But i think sales wise the smartest thing for Sony to do this holiday season is to bundle MGS4 or heck even GTA4 with the 80 gig. It'll still cost more than the 360 so they should sweeten the pot to make the 80 gig look more appealing this holiday seaso...
Mmmmm i see what you're saying. I'll agree with you saying that it isn't the most popular franchise (that title belongs to Mario or Pokemon probably) but it does sell good and is one of the top selling series. In fact if you compare it's overall series numbers with Halo's numbers you'd be surprise how close they are.

Uhh what? Metal Gear Solid games have pretty much always sold strongly (6 mill for MGS1, 7 for MGS2 and close to 4 mill for MGS3). MGS4 has already sold over 2 mill worldwide. Hell it sold over a mill in NA alone (including bundled units) estimated by NPD. It sold a bit over 600,000 in Jtown and i'm pretty sure it's close to a mill in EU. I think MGS4 when it's said and done will sell more like the original Metal Gear Solid game. It's sold over 2 mill in the first month.
Same here MK. I don't really like JRPG's (too slow and tedious for me). Fallout 3 is the only RPG i'm looking forward to though to be honest. Can't wait to pelt mutants with my teddy bear launcher.
Don't forget Eternal Sonata coming to the Ps3 this fall along with Valkyrie of the Battlefield. I have a friend that's a Ps3 only owner and have been foaming out the mouth for Eternal Sonata this should cheer him up alot.
Though i do agree with no solid release date for HOME and no Team Ico being present is a bit of a downer. I would have liked to see Heavy Rain as well.

I wouldn't mind playing lips. Some of the songs they were playing was actually songs i know and i wouldn't mind making a total ass of myself while singing with my girlfriend.
I can agree with the Res5 thing which is what i've been saying for a long time but LBP still looked pretty awesome to me. Wish i saw more stuff on Bayonneta.
What you just said is my list of most anticipated games this year sans spore. I REALLY hope Brutal Legend comes out this year.
